T'was a terrible thing that Cyril had done. Those poor children did not stand a chance… so much blood. It was enough to bring strong men to their knees when they entered the house. Nobody figured out why. It was just easier to forget what had happened, demolish the house, burn the debris, and bury them in the large pit. Several years later The National B.P.O.E bought the land and the Roseburg Elks Lodge rose from the ground over the very same spot.

If you and yours are brave enough , come see what takes place at Cyril’s House of Horrors!

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth until they begin school, no matter their family’s income.

After launching in 1995, the program grew quickly. First books were only distributed to children living in Sevier County, Tennessee where Dolly grew up. It became such a success that in 2000 a national replication effort was underway. By 2003, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library had mailed one million books. It would prove to be the first of many millions of books sent to children around the world.

Come celebrate our launch of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in the Roseburg area! We will have story-time, crafts, and snacks.

The streets of downtown Roseburg come alive on a Sunday afternoon when the Downtown Roseburg Street Festivals happen. Our Street Festivals, along with many of the downtown events, draw hundreds of people and are quickly becoming a tradition.

The Downtown Roseburg Association actively engages the community in an effort to promote and develop a healthy and vibrant downtown community.

The Fall Downtown Street Festival happens on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 11am - 4pm.

Join us as we celebrate the character of Downtown Roseburg with live music by HAT TRICK, great food, local vendors, kids games, parades, original art work, crafts, jewelry, informational booths, dance demonstrations and a lot of family fun! Typically held in June and October of each year, entrance to the Downtown Roseburg Street Festivals are free to attend. Donations are gratefully accepted.

Festival goers can stroll the streets and enjoy the many sights and activities the event has to offer. Many of the local downtown shops are open on Festival day, when they are typically closed, so they can join in on the festival event and reach a larger audience.
